Stingless bee honey (often referred to locally as "lukot" honey or pot-honey) is produced by tiny, eusocial stingless bees (meliponines). Because these bees store their honey in clusters of small, teardrop-shaped resin and wax pots rather than traditional hexagonal combs, the honey absorbs unique flavors from the surrounding flora and propolis.
