This Privacy Policy explains how AGMULA collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the AGMULA website, marketplace, and mobile application. AGMULA is an agricultural marketplace that connects buyers, sellers/farmers, and delivery riders.

Information we collect

Depending on the features you use, AGMULA may collect:

  • Account and profile information, such as your name, email address, phone number, user ID, account role, and login-related information.
  • Delivery and address information, such as saved addresses and delivery destinations.
  • Location information, including approximate and precise location when location-based features or live delivery tracking are used and permission is granted.
  • Order and transaction information, such as products ordered, purchase history, totals, payment method/status, and records needed to complete or support a transaction.
  • Photos that you choose to upload for supported account, marketplace, delivery, verification, review, or proof features.
  • User-generated content, such as ratings, reviews, and other content you submit through AGMULA.
  • Support and security information that you provide when contacting AGMULA or when needed to protect accounts, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, or comply with legal obligations.

How we use information

We use information to:

  • create, authenticate, and manage AGMULA accounts;
  • operate the marketplace, cart, checkout, ordering, delivery, tracking, review, notification, and profile features;
  • process and support orders, payments, deliveries, refunds, disputes, and related records where applicable;
  • show relevant account, order, and delivery information to authorized users involved in a transaction;
  • provide customer support and respond to requests;
  • protect AGMULA, its users, and transactions from abuse, fraud, unauthorized access, and other security risks; and
  • meet legal, tax, accounting, regulatory, and compliance obligations.

Location information

AGMULA may request approximate or precise location permission for map, address, and delivery-tracking features. Location access can be controlled through your device settings. Some location-dependent features may not work correctly if permission is denied.

Sharing and disclosure

AGMULA does not sell personal data. Information may be made available only as needed to operate the service, including to authorized buyers, sellers/farmers, or riders participating in the same order or delivery, and to service providers that help AGMULA provide hosting, communications, maps/geocoding, payment processing, security, or other supporting services where applicable.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, to investigate abuse or fraud, or as part of a lawful business transfer.

Maps and geocoding

AGMULA may use third-party map and geocoding services to provide map, search, address, and location features. Requests needed to provide those features may be processed by those providers according to their own privacy practices.

Data security

AGMULA uses reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. Data transmitted between the AGMULA mobile app and AGMULA services is sent over encrypted HTTPS connections. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Data retention

We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy. Some transaction, security, fraud-prevention, dispute, accounting, tax, or other legally required records may be retained for a limited period after an account is closed or deleted.

Account and data deletion

Children

AGMULA is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly target the service to children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when AGMULA features, legal requirements, or data practices change. The effective date shown above will be updated when changes are published.
